Thursday Reflection & Family Activities — The Holy Spirit Lives in You
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we continue our weekly faith and well-being journey, Thursday’s theme invites us to reflect on a powerful and comforting message: the Holy Spirit lives in each of us.
In 📖 John 14:26, Jesus promises to send the Advocate—the Holy Spirit—who guides, teaches, and reminds us of God’s love. This is a beautiful opportunity to talk with your children about how the Holy Spirit helps us make thoughtful choices, show kindness, and grow in faith. Families can notice the Spirit at work in everyday moments—through prayer, listening to one another, and caring for those around us.
Family Activity: 🕊️ Talent Collage
Set aside some time together to create a simple collage. Each family member can draw or write one way they feel the Holy Spirit guiding or helping them. This is a meaningful way to recognize the gifts within your family and celebrate how God is present in your lives.

Activity: 🤝 Community Kindness Walk
Take a walk as a family in your neighbourhood and try a small act of kindness—wave hello, offer a smile, pick up litter, or write a thank-you note to a neighbour. These simple gestures can have a big impact and help children feel more connected to their community.
Family Resource:
The “My Voice Matters” activity packs support children in expressing themselves and feeling heard. You can also explore helpful videos, information sheets, and worksheets at kidshelphone.ca.
