Dear St. Kateri Families,
We hope our entire school community enjoys a wonderful weekend celebrating Valentine’s Day and Family Day. We will continue to accept donations for the CSC Valentine’s Day Fundraising Campaign. Thank you to all the families who have already contributed—your generosity is greatly appreciated, and the funds raised will be used to continue supporting our students. As a reminder, families participating in the CSC Hot Lunch Program should note that this Friday will be the make-up day for the hot lunch that was cancelled due to the recent snow day. Please stay tuned for the upcoming release of the Term 2 Hot Lunch Program. Next week promises to be a busy and exciting one at SKTA!
🎊 Lunar New Year Celebration! 🎊: We are excited to celebrate Lunar New Year on Tuesday at the school! Students who celebrate Lunar New Year are invited to wear traditional cultural clothing to share their heritage with our school community. Students who do not celebrate are welcome to join in by wearing red or clothing that represents their own culture.
YRPH Dental Screening Clinic: Please add the following date to your calendars, York Region Public Health will be conducting a Dental Screening Clinic at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Elementary School on March 5, 2026. Information regarding family participation can be found in our school message from last week.
Carnival Week at St. Kateri Tekakwitha CES! (February 23 to 27) : We are so excited for our Carnival Week here at St. Kateri Tekakwitha CES! A variety of fun events and activities are planned throughout the week, and we can’t wait to celebrate together. We kindly ask families to take a moment to review the information regarding Spirit Days and any activities that require parental permission for student participation. Thank you for your support—we look forward to an amazing week!
