YCDSB Placed Under Supervision by Minister of Education

On Thursday, March 5, 2026, the Minister of Education placed the York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) under supervision. While under supervision, all decisions that would normally be made by trustees, with the exception of denominational matters, will now be made by the appointed Supervisor, Carrie Kormos.

Updated History Curriculum for the 2026-27 School Year

The Minister of Education has approved updates to the Grades 7, 8, and 10 History curriculum, which will take effect in the 2026-27 school year.ย
