Advent Week 2 : Love
God of Love,
We praise you during this Advent season and always. Fill us with love as we journey to Christmas. May we adore you and praise Your name. May our love grow with each passing moment. We ask this through your Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Amen
As we begin preparing for the many events that will help us celebrate the Christmas season, we look forward to welcoming you into the school and seeing you support your children.
We would also like to reshare the important information below to help ensure student safety and to prevent issues during our morning drop-off routines. Thank you for taking the time to read the information carefully.
Kiss and Ride Student Drop Off Routines: Parking and Escorting Your Child:
-
If you wish to escort your child(ren) to the school gates (located on the west side of the Kindergarten Yard), kindly park your car in the designated parking area at the front of the school.
Using the Kiss and Ride:
-
Please proceed past the pylons in the Kiss and Ride lot and pull over to the curb to drop off your child(ren).
-
Do not double park in the Kiss and Ride, as this poses a safety risk to others.
Dress Code: All student attire must be in keeping with our Catholic teachings and beliefs, and reflect principles of modesty. For Further details please visit https://kta.ycdsb.ca/ under the Our School tab.
🎄 Primary Christmas Concert: We warmly invite families to join us for our Primary Christmas Concert on:

Our students are excited to present songs, music, and dance to celebrate the Christmas season! Siblings will have the opportunity in the morning to see the dress rehearsal performance.
Christmas Concert Pick Up Routines: To help ensure a smooth dismissal and maintain student safety, we kindly ask families who plan to sign their child(ren) out at the conclusion of the concert to please complete this form by 3:30pm on December 10, 2025. We will call these Gr. 1 to 8 students first to the foyer. Kindergarten students can be picked up via the kindergarten yard at the conclusion of the concert. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.

This trip supports our Arts curriculum and gives students the opportunity to experience live, professional theatre. Families can make payment via School-Day.
EQAO Results : We are pleased to share the achievement highlights from our school’s EQAO results for the provincial assessments completed last spring. Over the coming weeks, we as a staff will review the detailed EQAO data along with other school-based assessment information to celebrate our strengths and identify areas for growth. Students who participated in the assessment received their individual results in on December 4, 2025. For more information about EQAO and other province-wide assessments, please visit www.eqao.com.
Please note that the Grade 3 and Grade 6 EQAO results represent students who completed the assessment in person and met or exceeded provincial expectations. These results do not include students who did not participate due to absence, medical circumstances, or other reasons.
Since the 2021–2022 school year, EQAO assessments have been administered online, establishing a new baseline for student achievement in Ontario.
