This Week at SKTA!
November 24– 29 2025
We thank all parents and guardians for joining us this past week in support of your child’s learning and for engaging with us during the parent/guardian–teacher interviews. Your partnership is greatly appreciated.
As we look ahead, we are beginning our preparations to mark the start of Advent and all that this season brings to our school community. We look forward to sharing this time of hope, reflection, and celebration with our students and families.

BRAVE Student Presentations
Our school is deeply committed to supporting the well-being of every student. This year, we are proud to offer Brave Education workshops, which align with our school’s strategic plan, as well as the Ministry of Education’s Policy/Program Memorandum 169 and PPM 144. These workshops will help our students develop essential social-emotional skills, promoting healthier relationships and fostering positive interactions throughout our school community.

AI Information for parents and guardians
As we continue to integrate new technologies into the classroom at St. Kateri, we want to reassure families that AI is not a replacement for student learning. While AI can be a helpful tool to support our students—such as assisting them in explaining their thinking or refining their ideas—it does not replace the value of hard work, critical thinking, and genuine effort.
We still expect our students to do their best, engage fully in the learning process, and submit work that reflects their own abilities and understanding. AI can enhance learning, but it cannot—and should not—complete the learning for them.
Families are invited to review the following link to more about AI.
