Kiss and Ride Update: New Routine

We would like to share an important update regarding our Kiss and Ride routine to ensure the safety and efficiency of student drop-offs.

  1. Parking and Escorting Your Child:
    • If you wish to escort your child(ren) to the school gates (located on the west side of the Kindergarten Yard), please park your car in the designated parking area at the front of the school.
  2. Using the Kiss and Ride:
    • Please proceed past the pylons in the Kiss and Ride lot and pull over to the curb to drop off your child(ren).
    • Do not double park in the Kiss and Ride, as this poses a safety risk to others.
  3. Handicap Parking Spots:
    • We kindly remind families to reserve the use of handicap parking spaces for those who require them.

Traffic Note Update

  • In the morning, all traffic will exit through the Kiss and Ride.
  • The stop sign exit to the east of the lot will be entrance-only during morning hours.

School Bus Update

  • Our end-of-day school bus routines have been running efficiently, enabling buses to leave early. As a result, buses may arrive at their designated stops earlier than the posted times on School Bus City.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our drop-off and pick-up routines safe and smooth for everyone!

🎊 Celebrate Lunar New Year with Us! (January 29th) 🎊

As we prepare to celebrate the vibrant traditions of Lunar New Year, we invite you to join us in commemorating this special occasion in a meaningful way. This year, we’re excited to extend an invitation to all families who observe Lunar New Year to showcase their heritage by wearing traditional clothing to school on Wednesday, January 29,  2025.

We would like to encourage all families who may not celebrate Lunar New Year, but would like to support our participating families by wearing red or their own traditional cultural clothing on this day.

Wearing traditional attire not only honours the rich cultural heritage of our diverse community but also serves as a beautiful expression of unity and inclusion. By sharing in each other’s traditions, we deepen our understanding and appreciation for the cultural tapestry that enriches our school environment.

Whether you celebrate Lunar New Year or simply wish to learn more about this festive occasion, we encourage everyone to participate in this celebration of cultural diversity. Let’s come together to make this Lunar New Year a memorable and enriching experience for all.
