Lenten Food Drive – March 25 to 28, 2024
Easter Food Drive – St. Kateri Food Drive Letter 2024
ShareLife 2024
At St. Kateri Tekakwitha it is our goal to grow students to become creative and critical thinkers who integrate Gospel values into their daily lives so they can become socially responsible citizens who demonstrate compassion, resilience, responsibility and hope. Charitable giving to help people who are less fortunate is one of the ways we can foster these values in our students. St. Kateri Tekakwitha is proud to announce it will be running a charitable campaign for ShareLife from March 18-22, 2024.
ShareLife is the charitable arm of the Archdiocese of Toronto. It supports more than 40 Catholic agencies that serve people who are poor and marginalized in the Archdiocese of Toronto and beyond. ShareLife-funded agencies serve the entire community, regardless of religious affiliation.
There are so many people who have been greatly affected in the recent pandemic and ShareLife has been there to support programs that help people in need in our community. People suffering from mental health illnesses, isolated seniors, young mothers and their children, newcomers to Canada, and people with special needs.
This is why our school will be supporting ShareLife this year to ensure that we do our part to help those in need. During ShareLife Week our school will be running a draw to raise money for ShareLife.
The St. Kateri Staff will be donating a range of prizes and students are invited to purchase tickets to enter the draw for the prize or prizes they wish to have a chance at winning. The draw tickets will be sold 10/$5.00 during the ShareLife Week, March 18-22nd with the draws being held on the Friday afternoon.
We hope you will participate in this event. Alternatively, you may wish to assist with our school’s ShareLife Campaign by having your child make a donation without being part of the raffle. ShareLife welcomes all donations.
And as always thank you for your support.
