The next Catholic School Council is scheduled for November 23, 2022 @7pm in the school library.
The November 7th scheduled Mother’s deli Hot Lunch will take place on November 16th.
Scholastic Book Fair
The Book Fair opened November 11th and will continue this week from November 14 – 17th. There will be a special Parent Night on November 17th until 5pm.
The Book Fair has always been an exciting time for our students and a fantastic school fundraiser for the school. With our Book Fair rewards SKT has been able to: purchase new books for our library as well as new coding and technology materials, STEM resources, funds to host author guest speakers, and much more to enrich our students’ learning!
Ms. Fimiani, our school’s librarian, is wondering if there are any parent volunteers interested in helping her run the Book Fair. We are really hoping to have some extra helpers to assist with the school’s Parent Night on November 17th, but would appreciate any help! Our school will be delivering report cards electronically on Tuesday, November 15th (after 4:00 PM) via the Parent Portal.
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to sign-on to the Parent Portal in advance of November 15th, 2022 to ensure your username and password will allow access.
To access this portal, please visit our school’s website (https://kta.ycdsb.ca/), and click on the parents link in the top banner. From the Parents page, you will find a link to “Maplewood Parent Portal ConnectEd” on the right hand side.

The members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at Blessed Frederic Ozanam would like your help to support families in our area. With Christmas right around the corner, the SSVP is looking for our school community support. In the past our school community has been very supportive of the campaign.
