Terry Fox Run – September 22, 2022. (Wear Red in Support of Terry Fox)
Our school-level event will take place this Thursday on the track beside the school. The whole school will walk at 1pm. Each grade will complete a different amount of laps based on their grade. The money raised is still being used to bring hope for a cure to those with cancer. Please remember that the walk will take place rain or shine, so make sure to help your child(ren) dress accordingly.
Welcome Back School BBQ/ Curriculum Night
We look forward to our school community coming together this Tuesday, September 20, 2022 for our “Welcome Back BBQ” organized by our Catholic School Council. Families are invited to come to the school at 5:30pm for the BBQ and then visit their child’s classroom from 7pm to 8 pm.
YouthSpeak Family Event – September 28, 2022, @ 7pm
We would like to invite our St. Kateri families to join us for a virtual evening presentation dedicated to engaging parents/guardians with a deeper look into youth mental health. Youth speakers will share personal stories of what helped them overcome their mental health challenges with a message of hope, empowerment and resilience. Families will leave with a greater understanding of the mental health challenges their children may be facing.
A link to the presentation will be shared in next week’s parent/guardian update to participate in the virtual evening.
